Sarah Brown Receives Courageous Attorney Award

On June 8, 2017, Kansas Bar Association presented Sarah A. Brown with the Courageous Attorney Award. This award recognizes a lawyer who has displayed exceptional courage in the face of adversity, thus bringing credit to the legal profession. This award is given only in those years when it is determined that there is a worthy recipient.Sarah Brown received this award in recognition of her contributions to victims of sexual abuse and harassment in work, church and school environments. During the ceremony, Sarah shared a story from her involvement with the priest sexual abuse litigation.
