Dan Curry

Attorney

Dan Curry represents people whose rights have been violated. For the last decade, he has fought for sexual abuse victims, people wronged by workplace retaliation and veterans who have been injured or rejected by the Veterans Administration. Acting as an advocate for his clients, Dan has obtained multi-million dollar outcomes on behalf of childhood sexual abuse victims, over $100,000 backpay for veterans in the U.S. Court of Appeals, and vindication for victims of sexual harassment and retaliation in the workplace.

Prior to practicing law, Dan worked as a newspaper reporter and has written for the Wall Street Journal, the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Missouri Bar. His office maintains a website, veteranappeals.com, that shares stories of veterans fighting to win benefits from the VA.

Dan holds an English degree and master’s degree in journalism, both from the University of Kansas, and a law degree from the UMKC School of Law. He is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri.

Dan is a member of NOVA/National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates and has been named as a Super Lawyer. He also has been recognized by the KCMBA for his work for veterans in the Kansas City area.
