Sarah Brown

Sarah brings more than 30 years of experience to civil litigation. She has focused her practice on employment discrimination, retaliation and harassment cases, cases involving harassment and retaliation in schools, as well as personal injury cases involving victims of clergy and teacher sexual abuse.

Her employment law practices have expanded beyond litigation to review of employment contracts and severance agreements. Sarah is also a certified mediator offering mediation services in employment disputes.

Sarah has also represented injured persons and their families in wrongful death, medical malpractice, vehicular negligence and invasion of privacy and defamation cases.

Sarah received her B.A. from Trinity College in 1979 and her J.D. from the University of Kansas in 1984. She is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri.

Sarah is a member of Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys/MATA, the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City, local bar associations, and she has served a speaker and panelist at litigation and employment seminars. She received the Courageous Attorney Award from the Kansas Bar Association in 2017 and was the recipient of the Women’s Justice Award in 2014 as a Litigation Practitioner. Sarah has been named a Super Lawyer in 2009, 2011-2019.
